River Camp Half Island Buna is a peaceful family run campsite located in the village of Buna, only a short drive south of Mostar. It sits right on the banks of the Buna River, offering guests a calm riverside setting with stunning mountain views. The camp is open from 1 April until 31 October each year.
There are around 40 grassy pitches, some with shade and others with full sunshine. Facilities include clean toilets and showers, a small communal kitchen with cookers, an oven, fridges and all necessary utensils. Guests have access to electricity at the pitches, drinking water, reliable WiFi across the site and washing machines.
Visitors can swim in the river, rent kayaks nearby, go fishing or simply relax beside the water. The location is excellent for day trips to famous landmarks. Mostar is only five minutes away by car or about twenty minutes by bike. Blagaj, Počitelj, Medjugorje, the Kravice Waterfalls, Mogorijelo, Hutovo Blato and the medieval necropolis Radimlja can all be reached within a short drive.
Prices vary depending on the season. In low season a pitch including car, caravan, electricity and two adults costs around 17 euros, while in peak season it is about 20 euros per night.

Guests are asked to respect quiet hours, especially during the night, and to keep the campsite clean and tidy. Pets are allowed but must be supervised and kept on a leash. Open fires are only permitted in designated areas or on barbecues. Swimming in the river should be done with care, and children must always be supervised. Visitors should follow any instructions given by the campsite staff to ensure a safe and enjoyable stay for everyone.
