Tucked into a quiet wooded area beside the Sturba River, just 5 kilometres from the historic town of Livno, Kamp Crna offers a simple and genuinely peaceful retreat in western Bosnia. The site sits within the Livanjsko Polje, one of the largest karst fields in Europe and a protected Ramsar wetland area, making it a rare basecamp for nature lovers who want to explore a part of Bosnia that few visitors reach.
The camp accommodates up to 15 campers across spacious, shaded pitches with plenty of room for campervans, motorhomes, and tents alike. A barbecue area, sun loungers, and swings are available on site, and the sound of the Sturba flowing through the surrounding greenery sets the tone for a relaxed stay. The camp is wheelchair accessible and welcomes pets.
From Kamp Crna, guests can explore Livno’s well-preserved old town and fortress, observe the famous wild horses that roam freely across Livanjsko Polje, or make the short drive to Buško Jezero – one of the largest artificial lakes in Europe. Open year-round, this is one of the most accessible and undervisited camping spots in the whole of western Bosnia.
