Tucked just 3 kilometres from the Croatian border crossing at Gradiška, Camp Kruškik offers a warm and unhurried introduction to Bosnian hospitality for travellers arriving from the EU, and a perfect final night for those heading home. Set in a quiet rural plot in the village of Bukovac, the camp is a labour of love run by owner Dalibor and his family, who have built something genuinely special out of what started as a family garden.
The site accommodates up to 10 pitches across flat grass and gravel surfaces, with electricity, drinking water, hot showers, and toilets all on site. A covered outdoor kitchen with a fridge, grill, and seating area is available to all guests, as is a self-service bar stocked with cold drinks. A small swimming pool offers welcome relief in the summer heat, while a fishing pond, trampoline, playground, and a small collection of farm animals – donkeys, rabbits, ducks, geese, and cats – make it a particularly memorable stop for families with children. Fast WiFi and laundry facilities round out the practical side.
Guests are consistently welcomed with a complimentary drink on arrival, and many who planned a single night end up staying two or three. The camp is located 40 kilometres from Banja Luka and sits just off the main route, making it an ideal stopover whether you are beginning your journey through Bosnia and Herzegovina or wrapping it up.
